Vedānta-sūtra

Here are key links to free resources to what I believe is the superior literature of all literature discussing God and our divine nature. Reading these resources clarifies most other secular religions, which are themselves incomplete. These works, for example, do not contradict the existence or message of Christ. Rather, they clarify Christ’s message, and better explain who (and why) Christ was.

This site is about my own personal experience, I suppose, in finding God. Let it suffice to say that I’ve dabbled in countless books on the subject of God, meditation, and so forth. All were incomplete until I arrived at these resources. That’s not to say the others didn’t have value in steering me in this direction, but let me state in no uncertain terms: this is the crux of what its all about!

I encourage readers to read them in the order listed. NOTE: Depending on your age, the material can initially counter much of what you’ve learned through your whole life. Keep your mind open and explore them and come to your own conclusion.

Do not discount these works simply because they don’t initially feel right as you read them. The Western World, especially the United States, is consumed with sense and immediate gratification. These works will , for many readers, therefore appear unusual at first. As David Bruce Hughes, who currently is graciously guiding my own understanding, explains of the Bhagavad Gita:

“We have to take Bhagavad-gita as it isin another words, without speculative interpretation or philosophical adjustment to match our preconceived notions of realitybecause Bhagavad-gita is a sacred science. It is passed down through a sequence of self-realized teachers and esoteric schools from extreme antiquity down to the present day. These esoteric schools are founded and run by teachers who have actually realized the divine philosophy of the Gita and are seeing Krsna face-to-face within their own hearts.”

The inherent beauty of the Vedānta-sūtra is that it is self confirming in developing a fully relationship with one’s inner divinity, enabling a real connection and experience with God to the true devotee. Following what is explained within simply works. Period. The question is not if they are real. The question is, where are you in relation to what they suggest? Without a doubt, were all people in the world to follow what is divinely called for in these works, the world would be a much better place for all human beings.

  1. Sri Isopanisad
  2. Bhagavad-gita As It Is
  3. Srimad Bhagavatan

You can simply download all of these works (and a whole lot more) for free in what’s called the Veda-base.

Now, these are provided without living guidance, although they all include the purports (explanations) of His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada.   Believe me, more guidance will help.  My sincere recommendations is that
anyone wishing to understand these works watch the related video seminars available at ET.org.   Free student / teacher help is available on the site for those who wish to truly learn what these works imply.
